The journey of Deacon St. John through the High Desert of Oregon is a gritty tale of survival, loss, and the brotherhood of the road. To bring the story of the Broken Road to life for our community, this project provides a localized experience translated from the English source text. While original localizations can sometimes feel stiff or overly literal, this mod aims to inject local "flavor" and cultural nuance while maintaining the raw, emotional weight of a world overrun by Freakers. My goal is to deliver an authentic experience. I want to reject rigid, robotic translations in favor of language that fits the style of a high-stakes, survival-action RPG.
